MusicGoals Eye and Ear - Keyboard Goals

These objectives use an on-screen keyboard and sometimes also a staff to teach and drill note names, staff reading, scales, intervals, chords, solfeggio, and melody. The portion of the keyboard grows as the levels progress. Drills start out with a small amount of material to master, for example, just a few notes to learn for staff reading. As you progress, the portion of the keyboard increases and more intervals or chords are added.

Use the mouse or your external midi device to learn the material before starting the drill. For example, play a note to hear it and see its name or place on the staff. Then press "Begin" and test yourself.

Below is a brief description of the Keyboard Objectives.
