Keyboard Staff Reading by Eye and Ear
Keyboard Staff Reading level 28 has two e minor pentachords. The "Hint" button shows the notes to be included. The note colors show scale position similar to movable do solfeggio, in this case la ti do re mi for the minor pentachord. This makes it easy to see the five finger hand positions. This also works great with an optional MIDI keyboard! When you play the keys, notes appear on the staff.
When you are ready, click "Begin" to test yourself. At the end of the drill you will be given your score. Adjust the tempo slider to speed up or slow down the drill. The "Goal" button toggles between " Goal", "Practice", and "Custom" . In " Goal" mode you progress through each level in order and must pass each level to move ahead. In "Practice" mode you may start at any level. In "Custom" mode create your own drill by adjusting the key, note set, range, drill length, and clef.
